This explains what we do with your information when you use this website. It is
written to be read, not to cover us.

We are the data controller for everything described here. For anything on this
page, email haydn@theworkshopfolkestone.co.uk or call 01303 764270.
When you enquire, book a tour or book a taster session. Your name, email,
and phone number if you give one, plus whatever you tell us about what you are
looking for. We use it to reply to you and to keep track of the conversation. It
sits in our own system on our own server.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email, and your name if you give
it. Nothing else. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and it
works immediately.
If you are a member. Your name, email, company and membership details, which
come from Spacebring, the platform that runs memberships and bookings. We use
them to run the building: door access, room bookings, invoicing, and the members'
newsletter.
When you post a job. The listing itself, plus your name and email so we know
who posted it. Listings are public once we approve them. Your email is not shown
on the listing unless you put it there as the way to apply.
When you report a problem in the building. What you tell us and, if you are
signed in, who you are, so we can come back to you.
If you have an account on this site. Your name, email and password, stored
hashed so nobody here can read it, plus anything you choose to add to your
profile.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. There is no
analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker anywhere on this site.
One cookie, to keep you signed in. It is not used to follow you around the
internet, and there is nothing to opt out of beyond signing out.
Only the services we need to run the place, and only the part they need:
Our own server is in the UK. If any of this changes, this page changes with it.
Enquiries stay while there is a reason to keep them and are cleared out when
there is not. Newsletter subscribers stay until you unsubscribe. Member records
stay for as long as you are a member and then as long as we need them for tax
and accounting. Job listings come off the board after 30 days.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to
delete it. If you have an account here you can export or delete it yourself from
your account page. Email haydn@theworkshopfolkestone.co.uk and we will sort it out.
If you think we have got something wrong you can complain to the Information
Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change this we will change the date at the top. Nothing here is retro-active.
